O mercado cambial (também conhecido como forex ou FX) refere-se ao mercado global de balcão (OTC) onde os comerciantes, investidores, instituições e bancos compram e vendem moedas.

Gráfico de Candlestick

Um candlestick é um gráfico, também conhecido como Gráfico de Candlestick Japonês, e é favorecido pelos traders devido à ampla gama de informações que retratam. O gráfico exibe os preços de alta, baixa, abertura e fechamento.

Um candlestick tem três partes: abertura, fechamento e as sombras. As sombras mostram a faixa de alta a baixa e o ‘corpo real’ (seção larga) mostra aos investidores se o preço de fechamento foi mais alto ou mais baixo do que o preço de abertura.

Se o candlestick estiver preenchido, então o par de moedas fechou mais baixo do que abriu. Se o candlestick estiver vazio, então o preço de fechamento é mais alto do que o preço de abertura.

Gráfico de Barras

Um gráfico de barras mostra a abertura, fechamento, alta e baixa dos preços das moedas.

O topo da barra representa o preço mais alto pago e a parte inferior indica o preço mais baixo negociado para esse período de tempo específico.

A barra real representa a faixa de negociação geral do par de moedas e as linhas horizontais nos lados representam os preços de abertura (esquerda) e de fechamento (direita).

Um gráfico de barras é mais comumente usado para identificar a contração e expansão dos intervalos de preços.
